Let's face it, growing your own business should be an incredibly rewarding, amazing experience, but for most self-employed people it is not.

Over the last 9 years I have coached more than 300 small businesses and Independent Professionals like, consultants, trainers, therapists and other coaches.

In my experience, most people spend their days lurching from one crisis to another and feeling totally overwhelmed by the amount of work they need to do.  Most people find it is a continuous struggle to find new customers, while sill managing to do the work at the same time.  Never mind put a system in place to retain old customers and get paid on time for the services that we provide. 

Clients often we feel that they will never manage to grow their business to it's full potential and see any real money in their bank account.

There are two main problems with being self-employed:

1. You only get paid for the time you spend face to face serving your clients.  Yet more than 50% of your time can be spent trying to find those customers: attending networking events, making phone calls, creating adverts or flyers, basically doing anything possible to find those new clients.
2. Most people don't have a proven system for finding those clients on a regular basis, which leads to the feast and famine cycyle that most self-employed people seem to experience which is frustrating and demoralising.

Well, I've got some good news for you! 

You see it is possible to attract a steady stream of clients to your door!  You need to concentrate on just three things:

• Taking a few, well considered decisions based on your business and your personality.
• A system to implement them in your business.
• The determination to Keep Going and work the system - when you are busy as well as when you are quiet.
